Notes on the genus Anthyllis L. (Loteae-Leguminosae) and its treatment for the Flora iberica

A general taxonomic and nomenclatural survey of the genus Anthyllis s.str. for the Iberian Península and Balearic Islands is presented. Data on morphology, synonymy, ecology and variability of the twenty three recognized taxa, are also reponed. The following new combinations are proposed: A. sect. Terniflora (Tikhomirov & Sokoloff) Benedí, comb. & stat. nov.; A. tejedensis Boiss, subsp. plumose (Cullen ex E. Domínguez) Benedí, comb. & stat. nov., and A. vulneraria subsp. microcephala (Willk.) Benedí, comb. & stat. nov.
