Abstract

Two species of lichenicolous fungi on Placopsis gélida are described from Ecuador: Capronia andina (also collected from Costa Rica and Colombia) and Roselliniopsis palicei. A diagnosis of Nectria byssophila, collected for the first time in America on Stereocaulon is presented. The new combination Cosmospora marelliana is proposed and Epicymatia microspora is synonymized with Phacopsis thallicola.
