Trie study of the collection of Sessé and Mociño at MA, allowed the discovery of specimens which may be considered as type material of the plants published both in Flora mexicana, eds. 1 and 2,'va.La Naturaleza, joumal of the Sociedad Mexicana de Historia Natural, and Plantae novae Hispaniae, eds. 1 and 2, published by the Ministerio de Fomento de México between 1887 and 1894.
