I transcribe here an interesting arricie originally published in 1807. Although we referred to it a long time ago, apparently no one seems to have read it. Likewise, I copy or summarize other hardly known, unpublished documents. Finally, I deliver some opinions on a better known paper, but of scant interest. All of which hope will clarify the activities of this estimable botanist, true pioneer of the Cantabrian flora.
